Hello! I thought I best introduce myself to you all, I'd love to get to know you too.
I'm Laura, a virtual assistant and a lover of nature and all things handmade. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved watching those around me create and make, whether it be sewing or tiling a bathroom. I would watch for hours.
These days, my aim is to support businesses with tasks that will free up time so YOU can focus on the great strengths in your business that only YOU have!
Something you may not know about me is that I have set myself a task to get out everyday for a walk or bike ride. I'm so lucky to live in the seaside town of Harwich and I am forcing myself to get out and enjoy it!
Since leaving college I have spent my working career in office based and customer service based roles. This is of great advantage to me, because I have huge experience in the tasks that I complete for others. For the last 2 years, I have been a Director and Manager of a large Montessori nursery based near to where I live. What a place to work! There (along with caring for lots of wonderful children, their families and a large staff team) I grew in confidence. I knew how to push the business forward and began learning more about marketing and website design. What with changes to my 'why', with my family gravitating their way to the top of the list and a desire to have the freedom to work for myself....I launched Laura Rachel Virtual Assistant.
I got my first ever client in a week of promoting my services and support to my local area. Out there, I know there are so many business owners wanting to get in touch, they've just got to take that first step. I'm waiting right here!!
Anyways, before 9am you'll find me with a lemon tea in hand and after 5pm it's a cool glass of wine .
